Apple Pay only keeps a small portion of your card number and if you want to use it on your Mac, iPad or Apple Watch, you’ll have to add them individually with verification required. After a card is approved, the card issuer will create a device-specific Device Account Number, and it is encrypted and stored on the iPhone’s secure element. To set one as default, just hold and drag the card to the front in the Apple Wallet app. You can add multiple cards to your Apple Wallet. Another verification process is required for each device that you have. To use Apple Pay on your Apple Watch, you’ll have to add them again via the Watch app under Wallet. You will need to perform a verification which can be done via SMS OTP or through a phone call.
